I have written about art and photography for many publications, including Artforum, Afterimage, Aperture, and others.  From 1991 to 1996 I was a critic for the New York Times, reviewing several current art and photography exhibits each week.  From 1990 to 1996 I was a staff reviewer and editor for Artforum, writing one or two reviews of exhibitions each month.  To find examples of these reviews, consult the online archives or bound volumes of these publications.
